Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sterling Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Godick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Godick is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Momma said knock you out. Sterling Archer could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Randy Godick's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sterling Archer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Godick!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godick shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Archer but Archer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Archer cracks Godick with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Archer, right into the meat.
Archer dodges the punch combination from Godick.
Archer goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Godick doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Godick looks winded!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Archer lands a nice shot to the body.
Archer throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Godick stumbling backwards into the cage! Godick bounces back off the cage towards Archer, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Archer lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Archer celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Sterling Archer!
