Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Millar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Renfro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Millar comes to the cage accompanied by Never Say Die. Michael Millar could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jeremy Renfro's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Millar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jeremy Renfro!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Millar avoids the body shot from Renfro.
Millar is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Renfro shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Renfro clinches up with Millar and pushes him back against the cage.

Renfro breaks the clinch.
Millar wants to clinch.
Millar closes this distance looking for a takedown but Renfro circles away.
Millar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Renfro's waist but Renfro gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Millar off to one side.
Millar throws a series of punches but Renfro moves out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Renfro. Those never looked like landing.
Millar lands a nice looking kick to the body. Renfro takes a step back to recover.
Jeremy Renfro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Millar shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Renfro defends it nicely.

Renfro tries to bum rush Millar with a series of wild strikes but Millar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Renfro is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Millar can't fight it off and eventually Renfro manages to take the fight to the floor. Millar looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Renfro accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Renfro looking to sit in guard and control but Millar gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Renfro is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Millar gets back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Renfro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Millar swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Renfro postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Millar is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Renfro, into his guard.

Millar wants to stand but Renfro has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Renfro trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Renfro throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Michael Millar just wasn't active enough.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Renfro digs a right hand into Millar's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Millar's gas tank.
Renfro can't find room to land a body shot as Millar controls the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A punch combination from Renfro misses.
Millar shoots in for a takedown but Renfro shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Millar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Renfro paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Millar has his takedown stuffed
and Renfro counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Millar throws a head kick that misses.

Millar gets caught napping as Renfro dives in and scores a takedown. Millar manages to retain guard.
Renfro is stalling in the full guard.

Let's hope that Renfro has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Millar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Renfro gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Millar thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Renfro throws a strike but Millar rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Renfro is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Millar defends well.
Renfro is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Millar is on top in guard.
Millar wants to stand but Renfro is controlling his posture from full guard.

Renfro shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Millar manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Jeremy Renfro showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Millar wants to control from the top but Renfro keeps moving.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Millar got a little sloppy there for a moment and Renfro has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Millar has managed to get both his arms back between Renfro's legs - danger averted.
Millar wanted to stand there but Renfro had control of the position.

Jeremy Renfro comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Renfro has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Jeremy Renfro decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
