Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Kova Tangis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anavar Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Kova Tangis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anavar Punch!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tangis throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Tangis avoids the body shot from Punch.

Punch has Tangis up against the ropes in a clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Punch.
Tangis tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Punch's elbow.
Punch scores with a hook to the body.
Tangis misses with the head strike.
Punch throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Tangis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Punch stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Punch misses the jab.

Punch fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tangis, pushing him back against the ropes.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Punch.
Punch lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Tangis wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Tangis is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.
Tangis is looking to break free of the clinch but Punch has double underhooks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Punch lands with a short shot to the head.
Punch working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Tangis has a couple of punches blocked by Punch.
Punch prevents Tangis from breaking the clinch.
Punch lands a right hand that snaps the head of Tangis backwards.
A short uppercut from Punch.
A shot in the inside from Punch.
Tangis's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

A body shot lands from Punch.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Punch creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Tangis is breathing heavily.
Punch lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Punch presses Tangis against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Punch escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Tangis walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Punch rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Tangis has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.

It looks like Kova Tangis has been cut.
Punch jabs Tangis to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Punch lands a jab to Tangis's midsection.
Tangis takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Punch ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Punch takes the fight into the clinch.
Punch scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Punch breaks from the clinch.
Punch lands a glancing blow to the side of Tangis's head.
Punch weaves into range and cracks Tangis right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Tangis goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Punch is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
