Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nate Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brick Top (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes comes to the cage accompanied by Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Top has chosen Killing in the name as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Brick Top has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Barnes looks to land a left hand but Top moved out of range nicely.
Top throws a head kick that misses.
Barnes blocks a head kick by Top.
Barnes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Top.
Barnes misses with a body shot.
Barnes throws a lazy right hand but Top sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Top.

Top looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Top tries to clinch but Barnes is having none of it.
Barnes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Top stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Top changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Barnes looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Barnes is looking for a sweep.
Top misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Barnes is trying to get back to half guard.
Top throwing strikes but Barnes manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Barnes stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Top clinches with his opponent.
Barnes misses with a hook to the ribs.

Top receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
Top lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Top tightens his grip and picks Barnes up, before dumping him to the ground. Barnes manages to land in guard.

Top drops back looking for a leg! Barnes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Barnes manages to kick Top off! Top jumps back into Barnes's guard.

Top is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Top postures up in Barnes's guard and throws a big left but Barnes blocks it.

Barnes is trying to control the position but Top postures up.
Barnes manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Top manages to get himself to full guard.

Top has his foot on Barnes's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Barnes works his way back into a safe position though.
Top looking to hit a scissor sweep but Barnes is one step ahead there.

Top looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Barnes has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Top is proving hard to escape from.

Top looking for a guillotine here but Barnes defends easily.

Top is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barnes is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Top is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Barnes moves in looking to clinch but Top pushes him off.
Barnes misses with a looping right.
Top misses with a takedown attempt - Barnes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Barnes lands a glancing blow to the side of Top's head.
Barnes scores with a jab. Top acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Barnes throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Barnes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Top looks to throw the jab but Barnes is out of range.
Top shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nate Barnes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brick Top.

Brick Top seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Barnes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Barnes throws a leg kick but Top sees it coming and moves out of range.

Top throws a sloppy head kick and Barnes moves out of range easily.

Barnes with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Barnes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Top swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Top takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Barnes uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Top has time to react.

Top throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
