PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hendricks has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort moves out of range of the strikes.
A decent looking cross lands there for Belfort.
Hendricks throws a left and a right that both miss
and Belfort counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Hendricks looks winded!
Hendricks on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Belfort connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hendricks momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Belfort changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Hendricks takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jab, jab by Belfort - just one landing.
Belfort cracks Hendricks with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Hendricks falls to his knees and Belfort doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
