Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vargas Jr with a poor takedown
and Mixirica counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mixirica.
Mixirica ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mixirica no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Mixirica keeping moving, preventing Vargas Jr from controlling successfully.
Vargas Jr won't allow Mixirica to sweep him here.
Mixirica wriggles free and stands up.
Vargas Jr misses with a head kick.
Mixirica closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee asks Mixirica politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Mixirica prefers to stall for the moment though.
Mixirica has hold of Vargas Jr's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Vargas Jr seems comfortable defending it but Mixirica has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Vargas Jr is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Vargas Jr is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mixirica couldn't care less - he's delighted!
