Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Peter Piper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Piper enables Tyson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Piper manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Piper is looking to stand up but Tyson isn't so interested in that idea.
Tyson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Piper is working an open guard so Tyson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Piper has his feet on Tyson's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Piper drops his hands momentarily and Tyson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.


It looks like Peter Piper has been cut.

Piper misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Tyson dives in and grabs Piper's left leg, looking for a takedown. Piper pushes down on Tyson's head and hops out.

Tyson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Piper tries to avoid it but Tyson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Piper to the ground. Piper escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Peter Piper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Tyson.

Piper shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tyson is trying to defend but Piper finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Piper wants to pass the guard but Tyson is defending well.

Tyson is refusing to be controlled, as Piper sits in half guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Tyson wants to get back to his feet.
Piper has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Piper thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Tyson tries to kick Piper off but Piper keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Piper wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tyson keeps working.

Tyson is trying to escape back to his feet but Piper uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Tyson pushes Piper away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Piper gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Tyson throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tyson shoots for a double leg takedown but Piper sprawls well. He's pushed Tyson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Piper is looking to stand up but Tyson isn't so interested in that idea.
Tyson wants to get up but he can't break Piper's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Tyson gets to his feet. Piper looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Piper shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tyson but Tyson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Tyson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Piper. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Piper feints and as Tyson raises his hands in defense, Piper changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Piper accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Peter Piper overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Piper is standing up over Tyson. Tyson looks to escape but Piper dives into side control.

Tyson wants to get back to his feet but Piper drags him back down.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tyson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Piper asserts his dominance and retains side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Tyson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Piper throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tyson's waist but Tyson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Piper off to one side.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tyson looks to land a combination. Piper sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Piper shoots in for a takedown but Tyson shows good takedown defense.

Tyson drops Piper with a beautiful combination! Piper stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tyson is looking for the KO!


Piper is rocked!

Tyson lands with a right that hurts Piper. Piper looks to clinch but Tyson throws a short knee that drops Piper. This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Mike Tyson!
In his post fight interview, Mike Tyson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
