The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Machdoor or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad.
Machdoor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Machdoor moves away.
Machdoor shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Machdoor's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jones showed some decent athleticism there.
Machdoor is looking to improve his position.
Jones wants to pass the guard but Machdoor is defending well.
