The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Groove closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Groove gets underhooks to prevent Dean's takedown attempt.
Dean jumps guard but Groove stands there with Dean around his waist. Dean gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Dean shoots in and bounces Groove off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Groove had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Dean is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Groove Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Dean's back instead.
