Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Logan Steele!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jenkins pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Jenkins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Steele manages to avoid it.

Steele tried to score with a low kick but Jenkins checks it.

Jenkins will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Jenkins throws a head kick but Steele moves out of range.
Jenkins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Steele.

Jenkins wants to get back to striking at distance but Steele won't allow it.
Steele keeps control of Jenkins as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Steele manages to break the clinch.
Steele keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jenkins lands a nice leg kick that just misses Steele's sensitive parts.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Steele moves out of range as Jenkins strikes.

Jenkins swats away the attempt to clinch by Steele.

Steele wants to clinch up but Jenkins keeps it at a distance.
Julius Jenkins is winning the standup battle so far.
Steele takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jenkins misses with a looping left.

Steele forces Jenkins back against the cage and clinches.
Steele keeps control of Jenkins as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Steele breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jenkins misses with a kick to the body.

Steele closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jenkins trying to control the position but instead, Steele has worked for underhooks and has pushed Jenkins into the cage.

Jenkins tries a body shot but Steele blocks it.
Steele keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jenkins's efforts to push away.
Steele has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jenkins after a bit of a struggle.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jenkins wants to get back to striking at distance but Steele won't allow it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Julius Jenkins will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

You can see the frustration on Jenkins's face as Steele controls the position.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Steele is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Jenkins looks calm but he's in trouble here. Steele gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Jenkins is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Steele lets go of the hold and Jenkins can pop his arm back in it's socket.
