Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Claude Strife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight throws a head kick that misses.
Strife stuffs the takedown attempt from Knight. Knight gets slowly back to his feet.
Knight throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Strife's waist but Strife gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Knight off to one side.

Strife feints a jab promting Knight to slip. Strife then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Knight slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Strife lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Knight circles away quickly and effectively.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Knight tries to score a power double leg takedown but Strife sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Knight somewhat.

Strife pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Knight back to the cage. Strife follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Strife goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Knight has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Strife uses from the top position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Claude Strife will probably get the nod.

Knight takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Knight drives through and clinches with Strife against the cage.

Knight manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Knight pushes a forearm under Strife's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Strife is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
