Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Derecho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gin Juice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jorge Derecho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Derecho uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Juice.
Juice misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Derecho fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Juice has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Derecho checks a low kick from Juice.
Derecho just misses with a punch to the body.
Derecho misses with a few strikes there.
Derecho with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Derecho swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Juice cracks a nice hook into Derecho's ribs.
Juice works the jab nicely.
Juice throws a push kick but Derecho slaps the foot to one side.
Derecho slips a jab and a cross from Juice.
Juice throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Derecho takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Derecho steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Juice. That one must have hurt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Juice uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Juice fails to land with a series of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Derecho avoids a punch combination nicely.
A head kick misses from Juice.
Juice pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Derecho drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Juice has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Derecho should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Juice has tightened it up now! Derecho should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
