The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo leaves Balare with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Balare has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Balare closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Aldo to the mat! Aldo manages to get full guard.
Balare advances position into side control!
Balare working the body and head with strikes.
Balare has hold of Aldo's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Aldo seems comfortable defending it but Balare has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Aldo is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Aldo is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Balare couldn't care less - he's delighted!
