Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Allister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Campbell McCaffrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCaffrey is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fight Like Apes - Something Global. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking body kick lands there for McCaffrey.
McCaffrey slaps away a takedown attempt from Allister, before circling back to the center of the mat.
McCaffrey stuffs the takedown attempt from Allister. Allister gets slowly back to his feet.
Allister fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

McCaffrey closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Allister quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
McCaffrey is stalling here. Allister is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! McCaffrey seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Allister has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Allister has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

McCaffrey closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Allister to the mat! Allister manages to get full guard.

McCaffrey drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Allister manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now McCaffrey has Allister in his guard.

Allister is looking to work some ground and pound but McCaffrey has wrist control.

McCaffrey postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

McCaffrey cracks Allister with a solid left hand.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

McCaffrey won't allow Allister to get back to his feet.

We're going to have a standup here because Bubba Allister wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Allister looks for a takedown but McCaffrey sprawls well.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as McCaffrey checks a leg kick.
McCaffrey connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Allister moves in looking to clinch but McCaffrey pushes him off.

Allister closes the distance and clinches.
McCaffrey tries for a takedown but Allister manages to get underhooks.
Allister wants to break the clinch but can't.
Allister tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. McCaffrey smiles and moves away.
McCaffrey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Allister.
Allister takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Allister changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McCaffrey tries to avoid it but Allister manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McCaffrey to the ground. McCaffrey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Allister turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Campbell McCaffrey dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

McCaffrey misses with a hook.
McCaffrey moves out of range of the body kick from Allister.
McCaffrey misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
McCaffrey throws a right and a left that both miss.
Allister throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Allister throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McCaffrey's waist but McCaffrey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Allister off to one side.
Bubba Allister seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCaffrey leaves Allister with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
