The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Vieira does no damage.
Knuckles pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Vieira with a poor takedown
and Knuckles counters with a nice low kick that buckles Vieira's knee momentarily.
Knuckles tries to land a leg kick but Vieira saw it coming and moves away.
Vieira tries for a takedown but Knuckles circles away easily
and Knuckles counters with a low kick, right behind Vieira 's knee.
Vieira gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fernando Vieira. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vieira is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A good leg kick by Knuckles.
Knuckles lands with a thumping leg kick.
Knuckles throws a solid leg kick but Vieira takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Knuckles.
Knuckles throws a leg kick but Vieira checks it.
Knuckles does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Knuckles will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Knuckles turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Vieira takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Knuckles buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Knuckles, right into the meat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Knuckles scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Knuckles lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Knuckles feints and then cracks Vieira's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vieira down.
Knuckles shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
A head kick misses from Knuckles.
Knuckles motions for Vieira to come forward. Knuckles throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Vieira chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Knuckles can pounce on him.

Knuckles lands a big head kick that sends Vieira tumbling to the mat! Knuckles takes a step backwards and waves Vieira back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Fernando Vieira has been cut.
Knuckles tries to score with a low kick but Vieira moves his leg out of the way.
Vieira will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Vieira is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Knuckles Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Vieira is out cold, face down on the mat!
