PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Go Getter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Wolfe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolfe is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lights Out. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Scott Wolfe enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Go Getter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Scott Wolfe!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolfe tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Getter moves in looking to clinch but Wolfe pushes him off.
Getter fails with a takedown attempt.
Wolfe keeps the fight on the outside.
Wolfe slips a jab and a cross from Getter.
Wolfe lands a nice hook to Getter's body. Getter takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wolfe goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Donk. Wolfe catches Getter right on the button with a cross.
Getter on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wolfe throws a leg kick which misses Getter's front leg but catches the back leg as Getter tries to avoid it.
Getter is breathing heavily.
Getter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wolfe sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Getter somewhat.
Wolfe lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Getter at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Wolfe lands a big right hand that sends Getter crashing to the mat! Wolfe stays standing though and waves Getter back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wolfe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Getter.
Wolfe throws a nice looking combination but Getter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Some bone on bone action there as Getter checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Wolfe cracks a nice hook into Getter's ribs.
Wolfe scores with a shot to the body.
Wolfe lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Wolfe throws a sloppy head kick and Getter moves out of range easily.
Wolfe throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wolfe drops Getter with a straight right hand, right on the button! Wolfe follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Wolfe!
A pretty intense looking Scott Wolfe took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
