Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Guilherme Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryce Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodriguez comes to the cage accompanied by Pusha T ft. Tyler. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rodriguez shoots in for a takedown but Maximus shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rodriguez feints and then cracks Maximus's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Maximus down.
Rodriguez misses with a takedown attempt - Maximus sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Maximus darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Rodriguez is trying to maintain the position but Maximus is very close to passing his half guard.

Maximus decides to stand up.
Rodriguez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Maximus but Maximus pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Rodriguez comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Rodriguez looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Maximus goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Rodriguez rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Maximus's guard! Nice work there by Rodriguez!

Well Maximus has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
