Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between rez chrome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ace Portgas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). rez chrome is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Portgas keeps the fight on the outside.
chrome is looking to clinch.

chrome shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Portgas is trying desperately to improve position.
chrome trying to control but Portgas is having none of it.
chrome wants to get back to his feet but Portgas is holding on tight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Portgas is trying desperately to improve position.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

chrome closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Portgas works his way to full guard. Good work.

chrome wants to stand but Portgas has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Portgas regains full guard. Nicely done.
chrome wants to control from the top but Portgas keeps moving.
chrome in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Portgas is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

chrome looking to sit in guard and control but Portgas gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Portgas stops chrome from standing up.
Portgas wants to control from the top but chrome keeps moving.
chrome looking to hit a scissor sweep but Portgas is one step ahead there.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Portgas postures up.
Portgas trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
chrome tries to clinch there but Portgas circles away.

chrome shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

chrome moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Portgas has worked his arm free - good work by Portgas!
Portgas sneaks back into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that rez chrome will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

chrome shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Portgas as he avoids it easily.
A bone on bone clash there as Portgas blocks the leg kick.
chrome throws a wild body kick that Portgas sees coming a mile off.
chrome tries to close the distance and clinch up but Portgas swats him away and circles back towards the center.
chrome throws a sloppy head kick and Portgas moves out of range easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
chrome will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
rez chrome is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
chrome fails with an attempt to clinch.
chrome has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for rez chrome. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

chrome tries for a takedown but Portgas sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
chrome closes the distance and clinches up with Portgas, looking for a takedown. chrome pushes Portgas against the cage but Portgas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

chrome has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Portgas is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for chrome.

Portgas has knee on belly and moves into mount.
chrome is working to get back to half guard.
chrome wants to hold on but Portgas pushes him away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
chrome looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
I really don't envy chrome right now.
chrome trying to control the hands but Portgas won't let him.
Portgas has good solid back control here.

Portgas working for a choke but chrome is defending well.

Portgas looking to break chrome's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. chrome remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Portgas will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Ace Portgas has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Ace Portgas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
