The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bator shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hardy pinned against the cage. Hardy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bator on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Hardy's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hardy duly obliges.
Hardy scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Hardy throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bator on the side of the head.
Hardy misses with a few strikes there.
Bator tries for a takedown but Hardy circles away easily
and Hardy counters with a left and a right that stings Bator.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hardy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bator.
Tommy Hardy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ulan Bator.

Bator bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hardy on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hardy tries to get out of the position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Bator is looking to take a break and control but Hardy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bator is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hardy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Bator has hold of Hardy's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hardy seems comfortable defending it but Bator has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hardy is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hardy is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Bator couldn't care less - he's delighted!
