The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ehntholt shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Marcellinus as he avoids it easily.

Marcellinus could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Marcellinus drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Marcellinus wants to lay and pray for a moment but ehntholt keeps working.
ehntholt manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
ehntholt regains full guard. Nicely done.

ehntholt had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Marcellinus is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. ehntholt Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Marcellinus 's back instead.
Marcellinus tries to escape but ehntholt has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Oooh a big shot gets through from ehntholt. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
