Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bod Zio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Dingdown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zio kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Old Mcdonald had a farm. Dingdown has chosen Baggy Trousers as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ben Dingdown!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zio throws out a powerful jab.
Zio checks a low kick from Dingdown.
Zio connects with an inside leg kick.
Dingdown just misses with a punch to the body.
Dingdown fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Zio lands a nice shot to the body.
Dingdown uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Zio.
Zio stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Zio doesn't manage to clinch there - Dingdown circles away.
Dingdown will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Zio lands a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zio turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Dingdown connects with a nice looking jab.

Dingdown falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Zio to counter with a crisp jab.
Dingdown tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Zio walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dingdown checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Dingdown pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Zio cracks Dingdown with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A chopping leg kick lands by Zio.
Zio tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dingdown swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Zio throws a front kick aimed at Dingdown's knee but Dingdown avoids it well.
A combination from Zio does no damage.
Dingdown throws a head kick that misses
and Zio counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Zio blocks a head kick by Dingdown.
Zio swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Dingdown fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Zio is out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zio pushes Dingdown up against the cage in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dingdown has had enough of the clinch but Zio keeps him there for the moment.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Dingdown tries to throw a body punch but Zio avoids it by throwing Dingdown back against the cage.
Dingdown lands a right hand.
Zio pushes Dingdown back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Zio with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Zio misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Dingdown doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Zio throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Dingdown blocks it with crossed arms.
Dingdown pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Some bone on bone action there as Dingdown checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Dingdown swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Dingdown works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Dingdown connects with a nice looking jab.
Zio is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Dingdown misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dingdown throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Zio lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
A big left from Dingdown misses.
Dingdown walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Dingdown takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Dingdown stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Zio.
Zio dodges the punch combination from Dingdown.
Zio throws a head kick that half lands.
Zio avoids the body shot from Dingdown.
Zio throws a nice inside leg kick.
Good leg kick by Zio there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Zio displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dingdown throws out the jab.
Zio throws a sloppy head kick and Dingdown moves out of range easily.

Zio is looking to slow Dingdown down with leg kicks.
Zio swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Zio is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Zio's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dingdown connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Zio scrambles back to his feet.
Dingdown throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Dingdown throws a leg kick
and Zio counters with a stiff right hand.
Dingdown tries to clinch there but Zio circles away.
Dingdown scores with a nice strike.
Zio is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Zio throws a combination that misses
and Dingdown counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Oh Zio is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zio moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Dingdown's corner calls for a 1-2. Dingdown obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Dingdown closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Zio! Dingdown dives in looking to finish! Zio is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ben Dingdown!
