Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutter fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rootbeer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Rootbeer looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Rootbeer throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Rootbeer is looking for a triangle but Rutter pushes his legs off easily.
Rutter wants to stand but Rootbeer is controlling his posture from full guard.

Rutter wants to control from the top but Rootbeer keeps moving.

Rootbeer is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rutter is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rootbeer is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rootbeer thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Rootbeer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Rootbeer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rutter is keeping the position for now.
Rootbeer is breathing heavily.
Rootbeer stays in close to Rutter's body and controls the position.
Rutter keeping moving, preventing Rootbeer from controlling successfully.

Rootbeer tries to free his leg and advance position but Rutter is retaining full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Rootbeer tries to clinch but Rutter moves out of range.

Rootbeer is looking to control Rutter's arms but Rutter gets an underhook and turns him. Now Rootbeer has his back to the cage.
Rutter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Rootbeer holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Rutter breaks from the clinch.
Rootbeer clinches with his opponent.
Rutter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Rootbeer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rutter manages to get himself to full guard.
Rootbeer has gone for a leg lock! Rutter slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rootbeer's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Rutter shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Rootbeer is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rootbeer bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Rootbeer slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Rootbeer in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Rutter is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
