And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Reacher misses its intended target.
Reacher tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Heart was well out of range. Poor timing from Reacher.
Reacher tries to close the distance and clinch but Heart swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Heart misses with a double jab.
Heart bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Reacher misses with a jab, cross combination.
Heart looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nice takedown defense from Heart. No joy for Reacher on that attempt.
Heart throws a poor cross that misses
and Reacher cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Heart thows a left - swing and a miss!

Reacher drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Reacher tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Reacher advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reacher throwing strikes here but Heart is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Reacher swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Heart is now in Reacher's guard. A big mistake from Reacher there, giving up the dominant position!
Heart would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Reacher working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Heart doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Heart manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Heart wants to stand but Reacher is controlling his posture from full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Reacher is on top in guard.
Heart wants to get back to his feet but Reacher is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Reacher passes into half guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Heart is looking to escape.
Reacher not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Reacher wants to control but Heart is keeping him busy.
Reacher looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Heart with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Heart is trying to stand back up but Reacher is controlling him
Reacher passes to side control.
Reacher misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Heart is pushing Reacher's head away, looking to escape. Reacher manages to hold on to the position though.

Reacher thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Heart is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Reacher has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Reacher tries to advance to mount but Heart denies him.
Heart really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reacher. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Heart bucks up and tries to throw Reacher off but instead Reacher has got his back!

Reacher cracks Heart with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Heart from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Heart is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Reacher off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Reacher punches the canvas rather than the man.
Reacher lands with a hammerfist to the side of Heart's head.

Heart is rocked!
Reacher lands strikes from the back and Heart isn't doing enough to escape the position. The referee steps in to end the fight.
