Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dixon Manners (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddie Mercury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manners's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lonely Boy. The crowd seem to be enjoying Mercury's choice of entrance music: Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody. Freddie Mercury will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manners throws the left hand but Mercury avoids the punch easily.
Manners shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mercury sprawls well. Mercury wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Manners gets slowly back to his feet.
Manners misses with a takedown attempt - Mercury sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Manners misses with a hook. Mercury ducked under it nicely.

Manners closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Mercury wants to get back to his feet.
Mercury moves into full guard.
Manners working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Manners postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mercury is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Manners, into his guard.

Manners has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Mercury off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Manners checks a leg kick nicely.
Mercury is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mercury misses with a head kick.
Mercury is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It looks like Freddie Mercury has been cut.

Manners manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mercury on his heels. He'll look to pass Mercury's guard now, I'm sure.

Manners throws a strike but Mercury rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Mercury gets to his feet. Manners looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Mercury dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Manners avoids the body shot from Mercury.
Mercury dodges the punch combination from Manners.
Mercury moves out of range of the strikes.
The fighters circle momentarily. Mercury darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Manners takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Manners shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dixon Manners. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mercury lands a head kick!

It looks like Dixon Manners has been cut.

Manners walks into a stiff left hand from Mercury.

Mercury fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Manners has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Manners.
Mercury throws a head kick but Manners moves out of range.
Manners swings widly with a right hand

and Mercury counters with a nice right hand that sends Manners toppling to the canvas! Manners scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Mercury finish him?!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Manners shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mercury as he avoids it easily.
Manners misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mercury.
Mercury scores with a head kick.
Manners on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Mercury takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mercury.

Mercury cracks Manners with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Manners looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mercury finish him?

Manners is rocked!
Manners will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Oh Manners is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Manners misses with a straight left.
Manners seems to have got his legs back now.

Mercury tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mercury getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Manners stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mercury.
Crack! A monster head kick from Mercury and Manners falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Mercury!
