Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rock Cartwright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Filipe Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bryant has chosen Ride Wit Me- Nelly as his entrance music. Bryant has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryant displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cartwright.
Bryant looks winded!
Bryant shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cartwright as he jumps to the side.
Cartwright shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bryant defends it nicely.
Bryant on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Filipe Bryant has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cartwright tries to clinch but Bryant moves out of range.
Cartwright tries to clinch up but Bryant circles away and keeps his distance.
Cartwright fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rock Cartwright. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cartwright cracks Bryant with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Rock Cartwright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cartwright shoots in looking for a takedown. Bryant tries to sprawl out of it but Cartwright keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bryant manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Cartwright steps in with a hook that catches Bryant right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Cartwright follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Bryant looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rock Cartwright!
