Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean Benoit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Craddock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Craddock is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sean Benoit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Craddock!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Craddock attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Benoit clobbers Craddock with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Benoit keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Craddock takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Benoit lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Craddock sprawling to the canvas. Benoit follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Craddock hang on?


Craddock is rocked!
Craddock moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Craddock is still in real trouble! Can Benoit finish him?
Craddock can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Benoit controls the pace.
Craddock seems to have recovered his senses.
Craddock wants to sweep but no luck.

Craddock is looking for a triangle but Benoit pushes his legs off easily.
Benoit won't allow Craddock to sweep him here.

Benoit controlling from the top position.
Benoit is looking to stand up but Craddock won't let him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Craddock drops his hands momentarily and Benoit takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Benoit throws a leg kick which misses Craddock's front leg but catches the back leg as Craddock tries to avoid it.
Craddock looks gassed!
Benoit fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Benoit throws a shot to the body.
Benoit drops Craddock with a right and a left! Benoit comes rushing in but Craddock regains his composure and manages to keep Benoit in guard.
Benoit trying to control the position from guard on top but Craddock is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Benoit trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Benoit tries to stand but Craddock is controlling from the bottom.
Benoit trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Craddock looking for a guillotine here but Benoit defends easily.
Benoit knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Craddock on the ground.

Craddock has his foot on Benoit's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Benoit works his way back into a safe position though.
Craddock looking to hit a scissor sweep but Benoit is one step ahead there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Benoit throws a combination. Craddock tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Craddock tries for a takedown but Benoit sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Frank Craddock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Craddock looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sean Benoit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Craddock.
Benoit scores with a hook.
Benoit is looking to score with low kicks.
Benoit lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Craddock can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Benoit and Craddock drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Benoit.
