Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maikon Muller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederico Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muller lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Junior circles away quickly and effectively.
Junior closes the distance and clinches.
Junior creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Muller's defenses.
Junior wants a takedown.
Junior has Muller pressed against the cage, preventing Muller from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Muller wants the takedown. Junior is fighting it off but Muller persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Junior's guard against the cage.
Junior is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Maikon Muller will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Muller feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Horrible takedown by Muller or perhaps it was just good defense by Junior which made him look bad.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Muller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
