Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brian Finch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baz Bloodfire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baz Bloodfire is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brian Finch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Baz Bloodfire!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Finch.
Bloodfire looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Finch shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Finch scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Finch trying to control from half guard but Bloodfire is working away.

Finch is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bloodfire is just riding it out for now. Finch eventually gives up the hold.

Finch looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Finch seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bloodfire for as long as he can get away with.
Bloodfire has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Finch is working away from the top position though.

Bloodfire is looking for a sweep. Finch is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Bloodfire lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.

Bloodfire is staying active underneath Finch, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Bloodfire wants to control but Finch is keeping busy.
Finch wants to take a breather but Bloodfire is having none of it.
Finch thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Finch feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Finch drops back looking for a leg! Bloodfire is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bloodfire manages to kick Finch off! Finch jumps back into Bloodfire's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Finch accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Finch looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Finch is looking to work some ground and pound but Bloodfire has wrist control.
Bloodfire keeping full guard, as Finch tries to pass.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Brian Finch wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Bloodfire doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Finch counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bloodfire's guard now.
Bloodfire is pulling down on Finch's head. It's preventing any offense from Finch, at least for the moment.
Finch looking to pass the guard.

Bloodfire wants to stand up but Finch is controlling him.
Finch is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Finch's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Bloodfire lands a takedown into guard.
Finch is adopting a defensive guard.
Finch manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bloodfire manages to get himself to full guard.

Bloodfire has control of Finch's left arm, preventing Finch from doing any damage.

Well Finch has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
