and Adams counters with a series of strikes that sends Winfield to the canvas! Adams follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!

Winfield is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Adams pulls his head out easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Adams is trying to get an arm triangle but Winfield is defending well.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Winfield goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Adams has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Winfield but great work by Adams.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Adams tries for a kimura but Winfield is defending well.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Winfield tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Winfield throws a sloppy head kick and Adams moves out of range easily.
Winfield changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Adams tries to avoid it but Winfield manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Adams to the ground. Adams escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Adams swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Adams darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Winfield lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Adams circles away quickly and effectively.
Winfield takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Winfield jabs Adams to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Adams throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Winfield tumbling to the canvas!
Adams must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Adams stands up over Winfield, holding on to his feet. Adams throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Winfield is out cold! Adams lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
