Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Borat Sagdiyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lane Pedersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sagdiyev's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Mamaliga. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Borat Sagdiyev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

22 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lane Pedersen!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pedersen moves out of range as Sagdiyev strikes.
Pedersen slips a jab from Sagdiyev.
Pedersen blocks a head kick by Sagdiyev.
A punch combination from Pedersen misses.
Pedersen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pedersen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The crowd cheers as Pedersen lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sagdiyev doesn't seem phased though.
Sagdiyev dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sagdiyev throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Sagdiyev lands a jab to Pedersen's midsection.
Sagdiyev misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sagdiyev cracks Pedersen with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sagdiyev connects with a looping right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pedersen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sagdiyev connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pedersen scrambles back to his feet.
Sagdiyev slips a jab and a cross from Pedersen.
Sagdiyev bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Pedersen just misses with a punch to the body.
Pedersen swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Sagdiyev counters with a huge left! Pedersen is in big trouble! He's backing up but Sagdiyev isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Pedersen from any more damage. A dominating finish by Sagdiyev!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Borat Sagdiyev!
Borat Sagdiyev bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
