Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Schulte throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Puckerman was covering up waiting for the punch and Schulte finishes the takedown easily into guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Schulte looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Good leg kick by Puckerman there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Schulte shoots in for a takedown but Puckerman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Puckerman fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Schulte.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Puckerman connects with a body shot that sends Schulte's belly button to the back.

Puckerman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Schulte throws a shot from downtown. Puckerman moves away and avoids it.
Schulte chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Puckerman can pounce on him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Puckerman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Puckerman lands a big uppercut and Schulte crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Schulte looks OK. Puckerman waves Schulte back to his feet!

A looping hook to the body misses from Puckerman. Schulte does a little dance to reset his feet.
Schulte is still on wobbly legs! Can Puckerman finish him?

Puckerman is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Schulte flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Schulte is out cold! Puckerman holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
