The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Smith. Those never looked like landing.
Smith throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Smith uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

It looks like Brown Wilson has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Wilson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wilson checks a low kick from Smith.
Smith throws a shot to the body.
Smith shoots in for a double leg but Wilson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wilson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smith's waist but Smith gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wilson off to one side.
Smith throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Wilson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Smith as he jumps to the side.

Smith controls Wilson momentarily but Wilson frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
