The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bee throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Whitley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bee, right into the meat.

Killer Bee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Whitley swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Bee fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Whitley.

and Bee counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Bee lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bee shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Whitley eats them both and turns towards Bee to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

and Bee counters with a head kick. That will keep Whitley thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Bee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bee throws the kick towards the body but Whitley avoids it.
Whitley feints a jab promting Bee to slip. Whitley then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bee slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Whitley takes one to the chin there.
Whitley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bee moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Bee here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Bee throws a head kick but Whitley moves out of range.

Whitley gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Bee counters with a nice uppercut.

Killer Bee showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Bee has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
