Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Placentino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Slevin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Placentino comes to the cage accompanied by donGURALesko - Mogliśmy wszystko. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Placentino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom Slevin!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Placentino avoids the head kick by Slevin.
Slevin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Placentino drops Slevin with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Slevin looks back up at him and smiles so Placentino waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Placentino fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Slevin sprawls well initially but Placentino persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Slevin is rocked!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Placentino tries to pass the half guard into mount. Slevin knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Slevin is still in real trouble! Can Placentino finish him?

Slevin seems to have recovered his senses.
Slevin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Placentino is working away from the top position though.
Placentino has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Slevin tries to roll over but Placentino keeps him under control.
Slevin wants to control but Placentino is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Placentino is controlling the pace.

Placentino stands up and beckons Slevin to join him on the feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Placentino has cracked Slevin with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Placentino lands another huge swinging hook and Slevin tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Slevin, before Placentino can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Steve Placentino!
After the fight, Steve Placentino was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
