The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fredriksson has Pettersson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Fredriksson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Pettersson tumbling to the mat - Fredriksson dives into Pettersson's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pettersson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fredriksson defends it well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pettersson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fredriksson is just riding it out for now. Pettersson eventually gives up the hold.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mega Fredriksson.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fredriksson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
