The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Hendo misses.

Hendo gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Hendo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Some wild striking there from Hendo.
Hendo takes a swing at Nilsson's ribcage but misses.
Nilsson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hendo wants to land a leg kick but Nilsson is out of range.
Hendo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Nilsson throws a leg kick but Hendo checks it.
A combination from Hendo does no damage.
Yogi Hendo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nilsson shoots in but no luck this time.
Nilsson slips a straight right by Hendo.
Hendo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nilsson misses with a body kick.
Nilsson is looking to clinch.
Hendo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Nilsson on the side of the head.
Hendo digs a good body shot into Nilsson's ribs.
Hendo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nilsson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hendo tries to bum rush Nilsson with a series of wild strikes but Nilsson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nilsson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Nilsson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Yogi Hendo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Torbjorn Nilsson.
Hendo thows a body shot but no joy.
Hendo is breathing heavily.

Hendo gets caught flat footed, as Nilsson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Hendo manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Nilsson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hendo takes a swing at Nilsson's ribcage but misses.

Hendo rushes Nilsson and presses him up against the ropes.

Hendo breaks the clinch.
Hendo tries to clinch up.

Hendo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Nilsson, pushing him back against the ropes.
Hendo wants to get back to striking at distance but Nilsson won't allow it.
Hendo makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Hendo breaks the clinch.
Hendo is looking to wear down Nilsson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Hendo circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Nilsson to the canvas! Nilsson doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Hendo keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
