The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carpio lands with a kick to the temple. Caceras shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Carpio tries to land knees in the clinch but Caceras avoids the damage to the body.

Carpio gets through Caceras's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Still in the clinch, Carpio scores with a nice short uppercut.
Caceras has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Carpio is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Bernardo Carpio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tiago Caceras.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tiago Caceras's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee is keeping an eye on Carpio - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Carpio for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Carpio digs a right hand underneath Caceras's ribcage. Caceras let out a lung full of air as it connected.
