Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doug McMichaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dee Nyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nyde has chosen Get cape Wear cape-Fly as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nyde has taken the fight to the clinch.
McMichaels wants to break the clinch but can't.
McMichaels looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Nyde pulls McMichaels into guard.
McMichaels trying to stand up but can't free himself from Nyde's guard.
Nyde is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McMichaels is controlling him.
McMichaels will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Doug McMichaels has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
McMichaels swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Nyde throws a pinpoint strike between McMichaels's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends McMichaels crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Nyde scores a great knockout victory!

After the fight, Dee Nyde was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
