Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between ALtropos Lion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Pelano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pelano is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I Wanna Be Somebody by WASP. Hector Pelano will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pelano is looking to clinch but Lion is avoiding it.

Lion shoots in and gets a takedown into Pelano's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Lion trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Pelano is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Pelano has momentary wrist control but Lion slips an elbow through the middle.

Lion prevents Pelano from getting back to his feet.

Pelano is defending against the submission attempts here by Lion.
Lion looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pelano with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Lion cracks Pelano with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Lion lands a big shot to the head and Pelano winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

A relieved looking ALtropos Lion thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
