Halo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down . Moon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Heartbeats kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon moves out of range of the strikes.
Halo lunges at Moon with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Moon's hand.

It looks like Howard Moon has been cut.
Moon swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Halo counters with a crisp one two that drops Moon! Halo thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Moon to his feet! Moon is in big trouble!

That kick from Halo tenderised Moon's leg. Moon is trying to keep his angry face on.

Halo cracks Moon with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Moon looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Halo finish him?

Halo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Moon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Halo throws out a powerful jab.
Moon is still on wobbly legs! Can Halo finish him?
Xiomar Halo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Halo throws a pinpoint strike between Moon's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Moon crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Halo scores a great knockout victory!

In his post fight interview, Xiomar Halo started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
