Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scottie Terrier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Sen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sen has chosen Let It Rock as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Scottie Terrier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jin Sen!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sen.
Terrier tries to clinch up.
A low kick from Sen misses
and Terrier counters with a big head kick but Sen shrugs it off.
Sen misses with a looping left.
Terrier tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Sen counters with a straight right hand.
Terrier checks a low kick from Sen.
Terrier closes the distance but Sen moves to the side
and Sen counters with a straight right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sen lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Terrier lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.


It looks like Jin Sen has been cut.
Terrier tries to clinch there but Sen circles away.

and Sen counters with a good, hard body kick but Terrier shrugs it off.
A big left from Sen misses.

Terrier tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Sen counters with a good low kick that Terrier was not able to check.
Terrier closes the distance but Sen moves to the side
and Sen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Some bone on bone action there as Terrier checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Terrier swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sen swats away the attempt to clinch by Terrier.
Terrier tries to clinch but Sen is having none of it.
Sen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Terrier slips a straight right by Sen.

and Sen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Terrier thinking.
Terrier doesn't manage to clinch there - Sen circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Terrier looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sen misses with a body kick.
Terrier is looking to clinch.

Terrier moves into the clinch successfully.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Sen just misses with a elbow thrown towards Terrier's brow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sen tries a knee to the head but Terrier blocks it.
Terrier throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Terrier misses with a knee to the head.

Sen on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Terrier with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Sen dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

Terrier throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Terrier is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sen is defending well for now.
Terrier creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Sen's defenses.
Terrier lands with a light punch inside.
Sen prevents a body shot from Terrier.
Terrier lands an elbow inside.

Sen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Terrier wants to clinch but Sen slips to the side
and Sen counters with a lovely straight right hand!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Terrier tries to clinch but Sen moves away
and Sen counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Terrier moves to clinch but Sen breaks away
and Sen counters with a head kick. That will keep Terrier thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Terrier is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and Sen counters with a nice leg kick.

and Terrier counters with a nice uppercut.
Sen throws a body kick that misses
and Terrier counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Terrier checks the leg kick nicely there.
Terrier is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Terrier tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Sen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jin Sen will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Jin Sen's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Sen finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Sen throws a shot from downtown. Terrier moves away and avoids it.
Terrier walks into a left hand.
Terrier is looking to clinch but Sen is avoiding it.
Terrier lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Terrier darts in trying to clinch
and Sen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sen looks to land a combination but Terrier avoids it well.
Sen throws a jab but it's blocked by Terrier.
Terrier tries to clinch
and Sen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sen throws a sloppy head kick and Terrier moves out of range easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Terrier avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sen gets in close and tags Terrier with a short punch that almost sends Terrier to the mat! Oh Terrier is in big trouble! He turns his back on Sen, trying to create some distance but Sen rushes him, striking wildly and Terrier goes down! The referee tackles Sen into the cage to end the fight! Sen is one violent man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jin Sen!
