Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nick Ghirardi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neo Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ghirardi comes to the cage accompanied by go to sleep. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Ghirardi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Neo Creed!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Creed. No joy for Ghirardi on that attempt.
Creed avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ghirardi tries to clinch but Creed is having none of it.
Creed throws a right and a left that Ghirardi avoids nicely.
Left hook, right uppercut from Ghirardi.
Ghirardi closes the distance and clinches up with Creed, looking for a takedown. Ghirardi pushes Creed against the cage but Creed circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ghirardi misses with a takedown attempt - Creed sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Ghirardi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Creed cracks the inside of Ghirardi's front leg.
Ghirardi scores a takedown into full mount!
Creed tries to lock up and control but Ghirardi gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Ghirardi blocks Creed's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Creed bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Ghirardi can't keep his opponent in guard - Creed advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Creed moves nicely into side control.
Creed has hold of Ghirardi's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ghirardi tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Creed cranks the arm and Ghirardi screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ghirardi, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Neo Creed!
