Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bon Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jase Chapman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bon Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jase Chapman!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott misses with a takedown attempt
and Chapman counters with a stiff right hand.

Chapman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Scott napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Scott can't do much from the bottom here.
Chapman wants to stand but Scott is controlling his arm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Scott wants to control but Chapman postures up.
Scott tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The referee asks Chapman politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Chapman prefers to stall for the moment though.
Chapman trying to control the position but Scott is working away.
Scott wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Scott might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Scott sneaks back into half guard.
Scott is looking to control Chapman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Scott avoid being mounted?

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Chapman tries a head kick but it misses.

Chapman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Scott manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Chapman is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Scott has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Chapman is tapping! This fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Heel Hook). Bon Scott!
