Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Status (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hittori Hanzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanzo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hanzo fails with a takedown attempt.
Status keeps the fight on the outside.
Hanzo thuds his right hand into Status's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Status shoots in and bounces Hanzo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Hanzo keeping moving, preventing Status from controlling successfully.
Status advances position into side control!
Status works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Hanzo is looking to reverse the position.
Hanzo takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Status controls the position from side control.
Hanzo takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

It looks like Hittori Hanzo has been cut.
Hanzo on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Status working away.
Status working the head with strikes.
Hanzo is trying to control Status's posture but Status avoids it.
Status cracks Hanzo with a big right hand but Hanzo just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Status is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hanzo looks calm but he's in trouble here. Status gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hanzo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Status lets go of the hold and Hanzo can pop his arm back in it's socket.
