Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between CHUCK LA DEELAR (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Honcho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Honcho is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 30 Seconds to Mars- Battle of One. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LA DEELAR shoots in for a takedown but Honcho shows good takedown defense.
LA DEELAR takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
LA DEELAR looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Honcho closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Honcho has hold of LA DEELAR's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and LA DEELAR manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Honcho throws a series of strikes that have LA DEELAR backpedaling.

Honcho wants the takedown. LA DEELAR is fighting it off but Honcho persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in LA DEELAR's guard against the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Honcho postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Honcho stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. LA DEELAR swivels though and keeps the full guard.
CHUCK LA DEELAR has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
LA DEELAR escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Honcho gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well Honcho has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
