Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nate Query (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nate Query seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Query scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Hall shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Query as he avoids it easily.
Query fails to land the takedown.
Hall shoots in for a double leg but Query sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nate Query has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesse Hall.
Query tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Query misses with a few strikes there.

Query feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Hall controls Query momentarily but Query frees himself.

Hall had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Query defends it easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hall working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Query doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Query manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Query throws a strike but Hall rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Query is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hall is controlling him.
Query wants to sweep here but Hall controlling him for the moment.
Hall won't allow Query to get back to his feet.
Hall loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Hall wants to control from the top but Query keeps moving.
Query is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Query manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Hall is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Hall slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Query is nestled in close to Hall, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Query fails to land with a series of punches.

Hall darts in and clinches Query up against the cage.

Query escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Query rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hall moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Query decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hall, up you get!

and Query counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Query shoots for a double leg takedown but Hall sprawls well. He's pushed Query's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Nate Query overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Hall struggling a bit here.
Hall is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Query off and has taken his back!

Query postures up in Hall's guard and throws a big left but Hall blocks it.

Query gets to his feet. Hall looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Query connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Hall! He's out on his feet! Query rushes in and drops Hall with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
