The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

This Bastard breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Horrible takedown by This Bastard or perhaps it was just good defense by Sumo which made him look bad.
Sumo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? This Bastard is fending him off so far but Sumo persists. Nope, This Bastard circles away and we're back to standing.
This Bastard throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sumo's waist but Sumo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing This Bastard off to one side.

This Bastard tries to sprawl but Sumo drives through with a takedown into half guard.
This Bastard on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if This Bastard tries to get out of the position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
This Bastard changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sumo tries to avoid it but This Bastard manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sumo to the ground. Sumo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Sumo shoots in looking for a takedown but This Bastard manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sumo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
