Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lauzon darts in and clinches Samsona up against the cage.
Lauzon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Samsona lands an elbow just above Lauzon 's eye.

Samsona gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Samsona is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Lauzon tries to get to full guard but Samsona has control of the leg.

Samsona really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lauzon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are battling for position here. Lauzon manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Lauzon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Samsona defends it easily.
Samsona stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lauzon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Samsona stands up over Lauzon, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Lauzon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Samsona doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Samsona manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lauzon is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Samsona frees his head nicely. Oh but Lauzon has switched to an armbar! Samsona is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
