Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Raven Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aegor Rivers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rivers has chosen Pursuit of Happiness as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Lucas fakes the leg kick and cracks Rivers in the body.
Lucas shoots for a double leg takedown but Rivers sprawls well. He's pushed Lucas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rivers will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Lucas throws a half hearted mid kick.
Rivers throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Rivers misses with the combination.
Lucas wants to clinch up but Rivers keeps it at a distance.
Lucas sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Lucas misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rivers tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Aegor Rivers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lucas gets the takedown into side control.
Rivers is looking to reverse the position.
Rivers can't do much from the bottom here.

Rivers is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Rivers is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Rivers is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Rivers wants to get back to his feet.
Rivers is looking for a sweep. Lucas is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Rivers is trying to stand up here but Lucas is controlling him well.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Raven Lucas just wasn't active enough.
Lucas moves out of range as Rivers throws a body kick.

A telegraphed right hand from Lucas misses the target.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rivers lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lucas has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lucas and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
A slapping leg kick lands for Rivers.
Rivers leaves Lucas with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lucas looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rivers is fending him off so far but Lucas persists. Nope, Rivers circles away and we're back to standing.

Lucas drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Lucas wants to get up but he can't break Rivers's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Rivers wriggles free and stands up.

Rivers gets caught napping as Lucas dives in and scores a takedown. Rivers manages to retain guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rivers is on top in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lucas looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Rivers would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Lucas looking for a sweep. Not yet Lucas, not yet.
Rivers is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rivers throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Lucas dodges the punch combination from Rivers.
Rivers takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Raven Lucas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lucas misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rivers throws a leg kick which misses Lucas's front leg but catches the back leg as Lucas tries to avoid it.
Rivers tries to land a front kick but Lucas steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Rivers tries a low kick but Lucas avoids it.
Lucas throws a body punch but Rivers moves out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Rivers. No joy for Lucas on that attempt.

Rivers gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lucas to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Rivers seems keen to control Lucas's posture.

Rivers is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lucas is controlling him.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rivers is on top in guard.

Lucas bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rivers's guard.
Rivers not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rivers wants to sweep here but Lucas controlling him for the moment.
Rivers is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Lucas is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Rivers tries to stand but can't do so whilst Lucas controls his leg.

Lucas takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Lucas throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Lucas throws a nice inside leg kick.
Lucas lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rivers backs up against the cage.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Rivers.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Rivers throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rivers tries to bum rush Lucas with a series of wild strikes but Lucas uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

It looks like Raven Lucas has been cut.

Rivers lands a leg kick that knocks Lucas off balance momentarily.

Lucas tries to land a front kick but Rivers steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Rivers keeps Lucas at a distance using the push kick.

No joy there for Rivers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lucas throws a right hand that Rivers ducks under and follows up with a left that Rivers also avoids with ease.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Aegor Rivers.
Lucas tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rivers swivels and escapes.
Raven Lucas has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Good leg kick by Rivers there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rivers looks to land a combination. Lucas sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Lucas tries to get into range but Rivers steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Lucas! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Rivers scores the big KO victory!
