Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jakob Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander has chosen Saliva-Badass as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexander throws a low kick but it's checked well by Jackson.
Alexander throws a head kick that misses.
Alexander needs to keep his hands up - Jackson had a free shot at his head there.
Jackson throws a big shot that misses.
Alexander swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Nice takedown defense from Jackson. No joy for Alexander on that attempt.
Alexander throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jackson looks to land a combination. Alexander sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Jackson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Alexander slips a jab and a cross from Jackson.
Jackson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Jackson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Alexander throws out the jab.
Jackson lands a left and a right that send Alexander crashing to the mat, dazed. Jackson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Alexander is rocked!
It looks like Jakob Alexander has been cut.
Jackson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Alexander is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him?
Alexander on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Alexander seems to have recovered his senses.
Alexander misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Alexander shoots for a double leg takedown but Jackson sprawls well. He's pushed Alexander's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Jackson lands a left and a right that send Alexander crashing to the mat, dazed. Jackson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It's a brutal combination of punches from Jackson! Alexander is backing up but he can't get away as Jackson lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Alexander and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ben Jackson!
